Date of service for front/rear shoes/rotors:
10/17/22 at Shabo Motors. No diagnosis or diagnostic tools or breakdown conducted by Shabos. Since I’m not familiar with Mercedes vehicles, I needed to have a drivers side front tire replaced and Schedule B service done as well as determine where this phantom noise (still thought it was coming from the rear brakes). I contacted Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury, MA where I brought the car on 12/3/22. Car had 73,330 miles on the odometer when an transmission issue
(bearing) was discovered and diagnosed by Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury. I had paid out of pocket for the entire brake job at Shabos in October and had no idea nor sense of any transmission problem. I have also paid my premiums out of pocket through your company. I was not thinking if any transmission issue when brought to Mercedes on 12/3/22 as there was no sluggish sense. No irregular shifting to give any cause. It is my hope that you will have an inspection of the vehicle to satisfy the warranty. Given the fact that the original contact date was 08/27/22 and the vehicle had 72,268 miles; the 10/17/22 visit to Shabos auto repair was for front/rear brakes only. If wasn’t until 12/03/22 where the vehicle had 73,330 miles that the initial diagnosis of transmission problem was made by Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury. I appreciate your further review.
