How do I file a repair service request if something breaks?

To file a service request, call 888-994-0914 to request service on any one of your eligible products or visit our website and begin a service request online in your customer portal.

Who performs the repair service if something breaks?

When repairing your eligible product, only authorized service repair professionals are used. The Everything Breaks Consumer Electronics Protection Plan provides you with the same type of service that you would get from the manufacturer or retailer of your product.

How many claims can I file in a year?

Each plan comes with a $3,000 Limit of Liability. You can file as many claims as needed as long as you are under your Limit of Liability.

Is accidental damage from handling (ADH) included in the consumer electronics protection plan?

Yes! Every Consumer Electronics Protection Plan comes with 2 ADH claims annually included in their base plan. If you happen to use both ADH claims before your contract year is over, you can purchase additional ADH for $3 per month per item.

What is accidental damage from handling (ADH)?

Accidental Damage from Handling or ADH occurs when a customer drops or spills liquid on their product resulting in a broken screen or liquid damage to their device.

Is there a service charge or deductible for repairs?

Yes, for breakdowns there is a $25 deductible that you pay directly to the service technician. If you have an ADH (Accidental Damage from Handling) claim, the deductible is $100.

Do I need my receipts?

Yes, you must keep all your receipts. Although receipts are not required when registering your device, in the event of a claim, you may be required to provide a copy of your retail purchase receipt for the covered product when requesting repair service for that particular product.

What happens if I need service?

Call our toll free number at 888-994-0914 when one of your covered Consumer Electronics is in need of repair. You can also visit our website and start a claim through your customer portal.

Is the everything breaks consumer electronics protection plan insured?

Yes, all of the Everything Breaks Protection plans are fully insured by an A.M. Best A-rated insurance company.

Does it matter where I buy something?

The Everything Breaks Consumer Electronics Protection Plan covers any brand from any retailer.

How long are my products covered?

Your coverage will never end as long as you continue paying the low fixed monthly fee. If you select the annual payment option, your Consumer Electronics will be covered through the expiration date listed on the agreement.

Why do I need an everything breaks consumer electronics protection plan?

Electronics repairs, even minor, can be very expensive. The Everything Breaks Consumer Electronics Protection Plan protects you from incurring unexpected repair or replacement costs if your registered product breaks down during the coverage period as a result of normal wear and tear. There’s the convenience of just one phone number to call to have your registered product diagnosed, repaired, replaced or refunded. And this is all covered under one low fee.

What is the difference between the everything breaks consumer electronics protection plan and the service plans offered by most retailer?

A retailer’s plan is expensive and covers only ONE newly purchased product with a limited term. Retailers typically sell you a new plan for each consumer electronics product you purchase. Retailer plans often exceed 20% of the purchase price of each product. The Everything Breaks Consumer Electronics Protection plan is inexpensive. One low price covers all of your consumer electronics as long as they are 3 years old or newer on the date of enrollment. With Everything Breaks Consumer Electronics Protection, whenever you purchase a new product, you can simply add it to your existing coverage at no additional cost. With this plan, you only have one number to call since all your devices are covered with us. With a retailer, you would have a different number to call with every device you are protecting.

Can I cancel my plan?

Yes, you may cancel your plan for any reason at any time. To cancel, simply call 888-994-0914 or log in to your user account and click cancel from your dashboard. If you cancel your plan within the first 30 days of Date of Purchase, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your plan after 30 days from plan Date of Purchase you will receive a pro-rated refund.

How does the everything breaks consumer electronics protection plan work?

For one low monthly fee, the Everything Breaks Consumer Electronics Protection Plan covers an unlimited number of Electronics you register with us from mechanical and electrical failures that occur during normal use. The plan covers those repairs necessary to return your Consumer Electronics to it's intended functionality under normal operation.

When does the everything breaks consumer electronics protection plan coverage start?

The plan term starts on the date of enrollment via the registration process. Products are eligible for coverage o the 31st day following the plan term start date. If you purchase a new Consumer Electronic, it must be enrolled in the Everything Breaks Consumer Electronics Protection Plan within 30 days of the product's original date of purchase and will be eligible for coverage at the expiration of the manufacture's original warranty.
