What is the difference between the everything breaks home protection plan and the service plans offered by other warranty companies?

There is no true comparison as the Everything Breaks Total Home Protection Plan covers your home PLUS all of your registered consumer electronics as long as they are 36 months or newer at the time of enrollment. The other warranty companies offer their coverage for a fixed term, making it very limited and inflexible. The Everything Breaks Total Home Protection plan is inexpensive. One low price covers all of your registered consumer electronics as well as 17 of your appliances and two systems of your choice.

Who performs the repair service if something breaks?

When repairing your eligible product, only authorized service repair professionals are used. The Everything Breaks Home Protection Plan provides you with the same type of service that you would get from the manufacturer or retailer of your product.

Is there a service charge or deductible for repairs?

Yes, there is a $75 deductible that you pay directly to the service technician.

What happens if I need service?

Call 888-994-0914 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year when a registered product requires repair. You can also request service through our website in your customer portal.

Is the everything breaks home protection plan insured?

Yes, all of the Everything Breaks Protection plans are fully insured by an A.M. Best A-rated insurance company.

Does it matter where I buy something?

The Everything Breaks Home Protection Plan covers any brand from any retailer.

How long are my products covered?

Your coverage will never end as long as you continue paying the low fixed monthly fee or if you choose the annual payment option our products will be covered through the expiration date listed on the agreement.

Why do I need an everything breaks home protection plan?

Appliance and system repairs, even minor, can be very expensive. The Everything Breaks Home Protection Plan protects you from incurring unexpected repair or replacement costs if your covered product breaks down during the coverage period as a result of normal wear and tear. There’s the convenience of just one phone number to call to have your registered product diagnosed, repaired, replaced or refunded. And this is all covered under one low fee.

Can I cancel my plan?

Yes, you may cancel your plan for any reason at any time. To cancel, simply call 888-994-0914 or log in to your user account and click ‘Cancel’ under your plan.

How does the everything breaks home protection plan work?

For one small monthly fee, the Everything Breaks Home Protection Plan covers 17 home appliances and two systems of your choice for mechanical and electrical failures that occur during normal use. The plan covers those repairs necessary to return your product to its intended functionality under normal operation.

When does the everything breaks home protection plan coverage start?

The plan term starts on the date of enrollment via the registration process. Products are eligible for coverage on the 31st day following the plan term start date.
