What Is The Deductible?
The deductible varies depending on the retail cost of the tablet. The deductibles can range from as low as $25 to $99. For exact information on deductibles please select the retail amount at the top of the page.
What Are The Repair Options For Claims?
We offer three different repair options. We allow customers to take their tablet to the big-name retailers like Apple or Best Buy and get it repaired by them. The second option is we locate on of our repair facilities in our network that is most convenient for you based on your location and arrange for you to take it there. Lastly, we offer free two-way shipping.
Is There A Limit To The Number Of Claims I Can File?
Every plan has a limit of liability up to the purchase price of your tablet. You can file as many claims as needed as long as the aggregate repair amount is under the retail price you paid for it. If your tablet is $1,000 and we replace the screen for $350, you still have $650 left of eligibility.
How do I file a claim?
All claims are submitted online, log into your portal, go to your accounts and then to plans, then to registered products, from there you will see a tab to submit your claim. At that point you will receive an auto email stating your claim has been received with instructions to follow. After we verify product information you will receive another email with repair instructions. Always check your spam or junk for emails. You can also call our toll free number at 888-994-0914 prompt 4 for customer service for assistance.
What If I Upgrade My Tablet During My Coverage Period?
You are still protected if you upgrade your tablet during your coverage period. Just log into your account and update your tablet information and you are good to go! The cost of the new plan may increase or decrease depending on the retail price you paid for your new device.
What Does My Plan Cover?
The Everything Breaks Tablet Protection Plan covers breaks, liquid damage, and any malfunctions. We do not cover loss or theft at this time. Most tablet owners are more likely to damage their tablets than have them lost or stolen.
What Do I Need To Provide To Register My Device?
You will need to provide basic information on your phone including: manufacturer, model #, product date of purchase, approximate purchase price, and selling retailer. You will also have the option to upload your receipt, so you don't have to locate it later (although uploading your receipt is not required during registration).
Why Do I Need Protection For My Tablet?
The Everything Breaks Tablet Protection Plan protects you from incurring unexpected repair or replacement costs if your registered product breaks down during the coverage period as a result of normal wear and tear or an accident. More than two thirds of Tablet owners reported damage to there tablets in the last year. Now that new Tablet and eReaders are more expensive than ever, the average cost of repairing a cracked screen or liquid damage has gone up over 100% with an average cost of $500 to repair the device.
When Does Coverage Begin?
The plan term starts on the date of enrollment via the registration process. Products are eligible for coverage on the 31st day following the plan term start date.
Is My Tablet Eligible For Coverage?
Any tablet in good working condition is eligible for coverage. With our Tablet Protection Plan, we cover tablets of any age, any service provider, and any model/manufacturer.
